We are delighted that you have chosen the Chateau Carsix as a venue of celebration for this special day. Your event is a unique day and our exceptional place will be exclusively dedicated to make this event an unforgettable dream to reality.

The Château de Carsix is located in the department of Eure in the region of Haute Normandie.

Built in the 18th century, Château de Carsix, is reknown for being one of the three most beautiful chateaux in the Eure department.

The Chateau de Carsix combines the charm of a rural location with the nobility of a typical 18th century brick and stonework. It was erected at the end of the reign of Louis XV by Philippe du Fay and has its own chapel as well as side pavillions. Before you reach the château, you will be greeted by a broad perspective framed by linden trees. The coat of arms of the family of Faÿ adorn the pediment of the entrance gate leading to the chateau. The entire restoration work respected the 18th century taste. Woodwork featuring in particular in the living rooms and some bedrooms as well as the floors have been restored (parquet Versailles, chimneys trumeaux, etc …).

The Castle

The overall surface of the Castle is 1,200sqm. With the ancillary buildings, the total covered area amounts to 2,500sqm² in the heart of a wooded park, in a calm environment.

It is comprised of:

A 300 m² ground floor which includes 4 spacious lounges and a large kitchen
2 floors dedicated to bedrooms and bathrooms
A vast basement with magnificent cellars converted into a games room and a museum dedicated to bookends
An independant Banquet Hall of 114m ²

A marquee can be set up in the park to accommodate 250 guests.

The superb cellars of the chateau house game rooms such as billiard, table football and table tennis.

Bedrooms

The 20 bedrooms (18 double beds, 2 single beds) have been completely refurbished in the utmost respect of 18th century traditions with period woodwork and moldings. Each with their own fireplace, the rooms are warm, bright and calm.Two bedrooms are ideal for families with children.

Each double room is equipped with a king or queen size bed and has a modern private bathroom. There are also 5 extra beds for one person and two cots available. Located on the ground floor, one bedroom is perfectly suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Reception & Dining Rooms

For your relaxation, 4 lounges are available in the chateau. Spread over 220m2, they are located on the ground floor. Our lounges offer you a charming decoration and antique 18th century. Each different style, though they remain true to the building’s architecture.

The rooms have been fully restored in the purest respect for tradition with wood paneling and period moldings. Each with its own fireplace, they are defined as warm, bright and calm. Wifi and business equipment are available in our fully equipped rooms (projector, tables, chairs).

Receptions

Depending on the number of your guests, you can occupy the salons of the castle, the marquee or the mirror room or marquee.

Depending on the number of your guests, you can enjoy the vast areas of the castle to organize and dress up your wedding party. Our living rooms extend over 220 m² and offer all the comfort and space necessary.

In addition, the mirror room will be offered to you for this unique day. It has an area of 114sqm and is complemented by a professional kitchen.
